Teaching Phonics.  As of Sept 2012, we have been using the Read Write Inc Phonics materials.  We recently received a letter from Nick Gibb the Minister of State for School Reform congratulating us on being in the top 5% of schools nationally for our phonics results.

In September 2013, the government brought out a New National Curriculum.  We have adopted this new curriculum from Sept 2014 and have mapped out below how we intend to cover all the areas.  It has been a challenge to ensure progression and continuity of the curriculum throughout the juniors with so many mixed age classes.  However, we believe we have cracked this with the 4 year rolling programme for Key Stage 2 and a 2 year rolling programme for Key Stage 1.

Thanks to all those who came to the information evening on "Life Without Levels".  I trust you found it useful.  There were some questions about resources that would support learning at home.
